Playing Catch Up...Again
Wow...time to brush away the cobwebs! I didn't realize it had been so long since my last post!
This summer was quiet for Brian and I as Morgan spent most of his vacation in Idaho visiting his dad. We did go to Idaho/Utah/Wyoming for a week. We spent most of that week in Wyoming at the Jones Family Reunion, was so much fun seeing everyone again!
Brian and I also were able to go to a few fun concerts and visit with friends. We spent a day on Lake Travis celebrating a birthday of a friend. The water was low, but plenty deep for swimming. Our boat captain drove us to a cove where other barges were parked and we swam and enjoyed the sun for most of the afternoon. There was a small water slide off of the back of the boat, the kids loved it and had a great time jumping off the top level too. (The picture is not actually the boat we were on...but similar...our boat had platforms on top you could jump off of! :D)
We laughed when we saw Tug's Bar-B-Que...you really can find barbeque anywhere around here! You can call in your order and they deliver it to your boat. They have a little motorized boat for delivery. After boating on the lake, we met up with another friend to spend the evening at an outdoor concert. It was such a fun and relaxing day!
