From One Rodeo to Another

Brian and I took Mason to the Houston Livestock Show the weekend after our trip to the PBR. It was dang COLD! The wind was really strong and felt like ice.

We parked the truck and then rode a bus to the rodeo grounds. Unfortunately we had to bypass the carnival...it was just too dang cold. All three of us were hungry though, so we made a beeline to the New Braunfels Smoke House booth. Brian and I got the sampler...the apple was too good miss! Mason was pretending his snack was a light saber...but had to sneak a bite.

We headed inside to warm up and check out the vendors and livestock. We bought Mason some food to feed the animals at the petting zoo. He had a goat follow him all around the petting zoo wanting more food.

There were lots of educational displays and demonstrations. We stopped to see a cow get milked, Mason was impressed...or maybe he was grossed out? :D
