Playing Catch Up...

Good-bye winter season football! Morgans final season game was played last weekend. His team didn't have the best win/loss record, but he sure had a fun time playing. He was one of the fastest kids on his team. He ran the field for a touchdown during the game and in my excitement....I took a picture of my leg instead of the field...UGH.

We've been busy over the last month with visitors. Grandma June came to visit from Yuma, AZ and Mariann brought her to my house for a visit. It was so cold that weekend! Brian pulled the truck around next to the football field so grandma could watch Morgan play. After the football game, we went to County Line for Valentines Day dinner. There is a dock behind the restaurant where boaters can pull up for lunch, or - on warm days - diners can sit and bask in the sun. Morgan and Brian like to feed the fish, turtles, and ducks some bread from dinner. It was too cold for that this time though. It was so nice to visit with grandma!


Mom came for a few days as well, we always love it when she visits...especially Morgan! He was so sad to see her go...and informed me that I now had to make him pancakes, bacon, and eggs for breakfast just like grandma did. Apparently oatmeal just doesn't cut it anymore! :)
