Weekly recap...


Last week was so busy! It was the first week of school for Morgan. He is in the fourth grade this year and his teacher is out for maternity leave until the first of October. So far he really likes the substitute teacher and has made some new friends. I must say I am really happy with the school system in Round Rock, Morgan's grades went up dramatically over his last year in Idaho. We are very proud of the hard work he has put into school and hope (fingers crossed) he will keep it up this year.

We went to Houston over the weekend and had a fun time visiting with friends. Brian was had a good time visiting with a few of his fraternity brothers. Neil and Tiffany have an X Box 360, which Morgan and Mason immediately attached themselves to. Mason eventually started playing games with the other kids, but Morgan would have spent the entire afternoon playing video games if we would have let him! They sure have a good time playing with each other.

YIPEE! I'm so excited you've joined the blogging world! I've had so much fun reconnecting with all our friends from good old Malad. By the way....your Malad list was hillarious! I had to send it to my mom. Your boys are so dang cute!

Hi Nichole - Apparantly, you found my blog before I found yours, but I am so glad that Heidi found it and that we're re-connected. Ah, I remember the days hanging out at either your hourse or Heidi's in good old Samaria. And then I remember your house in Malad proper. I always loved how your bedroom was up under the eaves. And here's a memory for you. Your family first introduced me to quesadillas. We had them at your house one night and they were so good I had to go home and tell my mom to make some for us! It's been a family favorite ever since. Hope things are going well for you. It sounds like you are living in Texas. Is that correct? Are in hurricane country or tornado country? Or none or both? Take care - I'm so glad that we can keep in touch now with blogging, since I haven't seen you for years and would likely never see you again without our wonderful technology!!
